A Success Story from Marts Village, Lori, Armenia
In the heart of Marts Village, located in Armenia’s Lori region, a powerful mission has unfolded that is changing the lives of 510 residents by ensuring reliable access to clean, safe water. Recognizing that clean water is not just a basic need but a fundamental human right, the community united in a shared effort to rebuild and modernize the village’s water system.
The project focused on replacing the outdated piping system and repairing the existing water reservoir, with the goal of providing every household in Marts Village with clean running water. It was an ambitious effort that required careful planning, dedicated resources, and a strong commitment to improving daily life for the entire community.

The organization Hayk for Our Heroes played a vital role in making this mission a reality. By partnering with local authorities and community leaders, they were able to mobilize resources, rally volunteers, and reduce overall costs. These efforts led to valuable discounts on labor and raw materials and helped raise an impressive $7,500 to bring this project to life.
Thanks to seamless coordination and a strong sense of purpose, the project was successfully completed. Today, the residents of Marts Village have access to clean, safe water, a change that directly improves their health, hygiene, and quality of life.
